Building Futures for the young people of Portsmouth

Colas Portsmouth attended a Portsmouth City Council collaborative and networking event where Councillor Attwell and Councillor Pitt presented with ‘The Employability Academy’

Held at Portsmouth Guildhall on 5th March 2026 Colas met some fantastic young people with some amazing success stories. 


Transitioning into employment can be tough, especially for young people that face personal or social challenges. The Employability Academy is designed to teach young people new everyday skills for example using public transport to help build their confidence and give them the knowledge they need to take their next steps into work or further education.



Colas Portsmouth pledged their support, and are looking forward to working collaboratively with the Employability Academy and supporting the young people of Portsmouth.
